Kiyo will be addressing the Alliance and Medical Society. She is the author of Kiyo’s Story. Kiyo and her eight American-born siblings grew up in a farm in California and were placed in an internment camp during World War II because of their Japanese ancestry. She has been a recipient of a several distinguished awards and had done a number of speaking engagements. Her book was recently reviewed at the Alliance Book Club (location to be announced).
